Test Results (updated 31 October 2007)
A growing number of scientific studies shows
that the BG-Sentinel is a superior trap for tiger mosquitoes and other
species. A list of these investigations can be found below. New references will be added regularly.
Mean catching rates of the
BG-Sentinel and other
collection methods for the yellow fever mosquito Aedes aegypti
in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, during the rainy season 2003/2004, +/- standard
error. Catching the
Polynesian tiger mosquito Aedes
polynesiensis - In field
tests in July-August 2005 in American
Samoa,
four types of mosquito trap were tested with Aedes
polynesiensis. The BG-Sentinel trap was clearly
the most effective. More information will be available in the future.
